Check In:
Check in will begin at 8:00 am. South flats and shelter.(See map under location tab)
Check Out:
Scouts will be leaving around 6:00 pm -6:30 pm
Meals:
No meals will be served at the Climbing Merit Badge Clinic. Participants will need to eat before arriving, bring their own sacked lunches and beverages, bring their own filled water bottle(s), and will be leaving before dinner.
Clothing:
Participants should dress for the weather in comfortable clothing that is appropriate for climbing, belaying, and rappelling. Footwear should be compatible with climbing and rappelling. No specialty shoes are required, but no open toed footwear will be allowed..
Technical Gear will be provided for use at the Merit Badge Clinic.
Requirements:
Scouts, 13 years old and older, must come prepared to demonstrate the required knots, be ready to try rock climbing and have read the Climbing Merit Badge pamphlet. Bring the pamphlet along as a reference. Scouts must also have a completed Activity Consent form and Health Form (parts A and B) with them. The documents can be found on the resources tab.
